Metronidazole is a common antibiotic used to treat fish infected with certain types of bacteria and parasites. It is applicable in different ways, such as by adding it to the fish tank or mixing it with the fish food.
1 scoop = 1g (scoop provided)
You can turn it into liquid form by mixing it with water (dropper provided)
It is also important not to use metronidazole in a tank with invertebrates or live plants as it can be harmful to them.
• Exerts in bactericidal action on gram-positive and some gram-negative bacteria.
• It is effective against a number of pathogenic bacteria associated with ornamental fish diseases, including Aeromonas and Pseudomonas genera and the mycobacterial group (Gill diseases, Chondrococcus).
• It is useful in the control of “Hole-in-the-Head” and “Angel Problems” in Cichlid and Discus. It combines well with oxytetracycline and Kanamycin for an ultra-broad spectrum treatment.

Directions:
• Day 1:
Steps:
1a: Replace 1/3 of the tank water.
1b: Add 5g of powder to every 100L water.
1c: Do not feed for 3 days
• Day 4:
Repeat step 1a only
Feed fish for 1 day
• Day 5: Rest day
• Day 6: Start of the new treatment cycle
• Repeat the treatment cycle until recovery.
• Increase dosage for serious illnesses.
